The District and Session Judge of the Consumer Court Malakand, Camp Court Lower Dir, Kulsoom Azam, has issued orders to take action against illegal encroachments and motorcycle taxi services in Timergara. The District and Sessions Judge directed the TMA Timergara and Dir administration to remove illegal handcarts, especially around Timergara Bazaar and the Timergara Headquarters Hospital, and provide alternative spaces for the cart vendors. This would ensure that the marketplace remains clean while not disrupting the vendors’ livelihoods.
Additionally, the judge instructed the administration to take immediate measures to remove stray animals from the markets. She also ordered the registration of motorcycle taxi services. These directives were issued to the TMA and Dir administration following petitions filed by consumers.
