Lahore court grants five-day physical remand of three suspects in alleged rape case involving foreign women

 A cantonment court in Lahore has handed three suspects over to police on a five-day physical remand in connection with the alleged abduction and rape of foreign women, as investigators continue to examine the case.

The suspects, identified as Rizwan, Nawaz, and Nasir, were produced before the court, which approved the police’s request for physical remand to facilitate further investigation.

DNA evidence linked to suspects, investigators say

According to investigation sources, a significant development has emerged in the case after DNA test results reportedly matched the suspects with evidence collected during the investigation.

Sources said Nawaz is among the suspects whose DNA was matched. Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the forensic findings or the next stage of the investigation.

The investigation remains ongoing, and police are continuing to collect evidence as legal proceedings move forward.
