Islamabad, July 6, 2026: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Women’s Wing President Faryal Talpur visited the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) headquarters in Islamabad on Monday, where she was briefed on ongoing welfare initiatives and reform measures under the social protection programme.

Upon arrival, she was received by BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid and Secretary Amir Ahmed Ali.

During the visit, Faryal Talpur was provided with a detailed briefing on various programmes aimed at supporting low-income families, particularly women beneficiaries. She also toured different departments of the BISP headquarters to review operational work and service delivery mechanisms.

The visit included an assessment of facilities extended to deserving women through the programme. Officials highlighted ongoing efforts to ensure transparency and improve the efficiency of financial assistance distribution.

Faryal Talpur appreciated the role of BISP in promoting women’s economic empowerment and social protection. She said that ensuring transparent, timely, and dignified financial assistance to deserving families remains a top priority.
