PESHAWAR, July 6, 2026: The SESA National Leadership Forum 2026 concluded in Khanspur, Ayubia, after a five-day residential programme that brought together university students, young professionals and emerging leaders from across Pakistan for leadership development and public policy training.
Organized by Students for Economic and Social Affairs, an initiative of National Influencers, the forum focused on strengthening participants’ leadership skills, civic engagement and understanding of governance, economics and national development through practical learning and mentorship.
Leadership and public policy at the centre of the programme
According to the organizers, participants attended workshops, leadership laboratories, policy discussions, debates, networking sessions and team-building activities designed to improve critical thinking, communication, problem-solving and strategic decision-making.
The training covered a wide range of topics, including leadership, organizational responsibility, good governance, political ideologies, economic freedom, taxation, constitutional governance, provincial autonomy, federalism, Pakistan’s digital economy, event management, conflict resolution, civic engagement and public leadership.
Cultural activities and experiential learning
Alongside classroom sessions, the forum included experiential activities aimed at promoting teamwork and cultural understanding. Participants took part in a Cultural Night highlighting Pakistan’s diverse heritage and completed a hike to **Mushkpuri Top>, where organizers said the activity encouraged resilience, collaboration and leadership in a practical setting.
The programme also featured talks by public policy experts and professionals from different sectors, who shared insights on governance, policymaking, economics and public service while encouraging participants to develop practical solutions to national challenges.
Closing ceremony
Addressing the closing ceremony, Muhammad Suleman, Chief Executive Officer of National Influencers, said investing in young leaders is important for Pakistan’s future and appreciated the participants’ commitment throughout the programme.
Certificates were awarded to participants who successfully completed the forum, while selected attendees received shields in recognition of outstanding performance, leadership, service and commitment to SESA’s mission.
