ISLAMABAD: More than 325,000 people have completed registration for Hajj 2027 and subsequent years through the government’s digital Hajj portal and mobile application, official figures showed on Wednesday.

The online registration system, developed by the National Information Technology Board, allows applicants to register from home for Hajj between 2027 and 2030. The growing number of registrations reflects increased use of digital services for the annual pilgrimage process.

According to official data, more than 283,000 people registered through the Hajj portal, while around 43,000 applicants completed the process through the Pak Hajj mobile application.

Of the total registered applicants, approximately 235,000 selected the government Hajj scheme, while about 90,000 opted for private Hajj operators.

The registration data includes around 191,000 men and 134,000 women seeking to perform Hajj during the coming years.

Hajj Registration to Remain Open

Officials said the online Hajj 2027 registration process would continue until further notice, allowing more citizens to complete their applications without visiting government offices.

Applicants can use the official portal or mobile application to submit their details and select their preferred Hajj scheme.

The National Information Technology Board has also developed a digital system for the online payment of Hajj expenses.

Officials said details about Hajj packages, estimated costs and payment procedures would be announced separately.

The government has increasingly introduced digital tools to streamline pilgrim registration, reduce paperwork and make Hajj-related services more accessible to applicants across Pakistan.
