National Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference to Be Held in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The National Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference will be held in Islamabad tomorrow, August 25, under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, with scholars, researchers, intellectuals and other prominent figures expected to attend.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said the conference will focus on the intellectual, moral and social challenges facing the younger generation and explore these issues in the light of the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

The annual Seerat essay competition has been themed “Protecting, Developing and Building the Character of the Young Generation in the Light of Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ.” Winners will receive cash prizes and certificates.

Scholars to address youth challenges

Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said leading religious scholars and researchers will share their views during the conference. Discussions will focus on contemporary challenges affecting young people and the relevance of Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ in addressing them.

The conference is being organized as part of the government’s activities marking 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal.
