The positive close came a day after the PSX ended lower on August 24, when the KSE-100 Index slipped 199 points to 176,996. The market had initially gained around 700 points on Monday before losing momentum as investors remained cautious amid developments surrounding the Iran-US conflict.

Tuesday’s 404-point gain therefore marked a recovery from the previous session, although investor attention remained focused on the Iran-US situation and its potential impact on market sentiment.
