LAHORE, June 22, 2026: SparkTank by Beaconhouse celebrated the graduation of its third cohort at The SparkTank Showcase, held at Faletti’s Hotel in Lahore, where student entrepreneurs presented 14 startups developed during the programme.

The initiative, described as Pakistan’s first business incubator for 10- to 19-year-olds, supports young students from public and private schools by providing mentorship, business guidance and resources to turn ideas into workable ventures at no cost.

The graduating startups were developed by students from across Pakistan between August 2025 and March 2026. The ventures focused on technology-led solutions for challenges related to sustainability, accessibility, inclusion and everyday problem-solving.

The showcase included an expo where students presented their startups to investors, startup professionals, parents, educationists and other participants. An Investors’ Lounge was also arranged to allow potential investors to engage directly with the young entrepreneurs.

More than 30 students graduated from the programme and received certificates and shields in recognition of their work.

Speaking at the event, Beaconhouse CEO Kasim Kasuri said SparkTank aimed to prepare young people for a changing future.

“Our graduates have shown the ability to ask thoughtful questions, take initiative, learn from setbacks, and keep adapting, which is exactly the kind of ‘future-ready’ mindset young people need,” he said.

Launched in 2023, SparkTank offers aspiring student entrepreneurs mentorship from experienced professionals to help them grow their ideas into businesses. The programme also focuses on building confidence, resilience and problem-solving skills among young participants.

According to the organisers, SparkTank has incubated 27 startups across three cohorts since its launch and has received more than 2,500 applications from across Pakistan.

The programme’s growth was also highlighted at the event, with the number of graduating startups increasing from seven last year to 14 this year.

The upcoming fourth cohort will include 20 startups selected from a record 984 applications.

Organisers said SparkTank ventures have collectively generated nearly PKR 10 million in funding, revenue and prizes, along with international grants and recognition.

The programme continues to position itself as a platform for young innovators seeking early exposure to entrepreneurship, mentorship and business development.
