PESHAWAR: Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has welcomed its newly appointed Chief Internal Auditor Zahida Rafiq and Chief Supply Chain Management Officer Saeed Ullah Khan Khattak.
A welcome ceremony was organised at PESCO, where Chief Executive Officer Engr. Akhtar Hamid Khan along with senior management received the newly appointed executives and extended best wishes for their new responsibilities.
Zahida Rafiq brings extensive professional experience in the field of audit and has served with leading organisations, including the United Nations and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
Saeed Ullah Khan Khattak, appointed as Chief Supply Chain Management Officer, has vast professional experience with prestigious institutions, including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and PEDO.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO PESCO said the company would extend full support and cooperation to the newly appointed officers.
He expressed confidence that their professional expertise, experience and skills would contribute towards further improving PESCO’s performance and service delivery.
Engr. Akhtar Hamid Khan said the PESCO Board of Directors took special interest in appointing competent professionals for these key positions, ensuring that the selection process remained based purely on merit.
The ceremony concluded with PESCO management presenting honorary shields and bouquets to Zahida Rafiq and Saeed Ullah Khan Khattak as a gesture of welcome and appreciation.
