LAHORE, June 18, 2026: Beaconhouse has been recognised as a Google for Education Premier Reference District, becoming the only institution in Pakistan to receive the distinction.
According to Beaconhouse, the recognition places the institution among a global network of school systems using digital tools to support teaching, learning, collaboration, creativity, accessibility and personalised education.
The Google for Education Reference District programme recognises educational institutions and school networks that demonstrate effective and innovative use of technology to improve learning outcomes.
Through this recognition, Beaconhouse will represent Pakistan in the official global Google for Education Directory.
Beaconhouse School System Chief Operating Officer Ali Ahmad Khan welcomed the achievement and said the recognition reflected the institution’s long-standing commitment to innovation in education.
“Becoming Pakistan’s only Google for Education Premier Reference District reflects the dedication of our teachers, school leaders, and teams who continue to embrace technology as a meaningful tool for improving learning outcomes,” he said.
Beaconhouse said the latest milestone is part of its continuing digital transformation journey. In 2023, the institution was recognised as the first Google Reference School in Pakistan.
The school system said it remains focused on equipping students with the skills, confidence and adaptability needed for an increasingly digital learning environment.
