KARACHI, Pakistan: Data Vault Pakistan and Galaxy Technology (Pvt) Ltd. have signed a strategic partnership agreement to strengthen Pakistan’s sovereign AI ecosystem and expand local cloud infrastructure, marking a significant step toward enhancing the country’s digital self-reliance.
The partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), and secure cloud services by providing locally hosted digital infrastructure for government institutions and private enterprises.
Strategic Partnership for AI and Cloud Services
The agreement was signed by Syed Zeeshan Ali, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Data Vault Pakistan, and Muhammad Jhanghir, Chief Executive Officer of Galaxy Technology (Pvt) Ltd.
Under the collaboration, Data Vault Pakistan will deliver a range of advanced technology solutions, including AI Model-as-a-Service (MaaS), GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS), sovereign and hybrid cloud platforms, AI-ready data center services, and high-performance computing infrastructure.
The company will also provide cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and managed machine learning operations (MLOps) to support secure AI deployment across the public and private sectors.
Galaxy Technology to Provide National ICT Connectivity
Galaxy Technology will contribute its nationwide Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure, network integration expertise, and connectivity services to support the underlying digital network required for AI and cloud operations.
The partnership is designed to create a robust technology ecosystem capable of supporting AI workloads while ensuring reliable, high-speed connectivity across Pakistan.
Focus on Digital Sovereignty
Executives from both companies said the collaboration is intended to ensure that critical data and AI applications remain securely hosted within Pakistan, supporting the country’s broader goals of digital sovereignty and data security.
They emphasized that Pakistan should not only adopt AI technologies but also develop, host, and operate them through locally managed infrastructure.
Supporting Pakistan’s Digital Transformation
The agreement comes as government agencies and businesses increasingly seek secure, locally hosted cloud services to meet evolving data privacy requirements and reduce reliance on foreign digital infrastructure.
The partnership is expected to support Pakistan’s ongoing digital transformation by expanding access to secure cloud computing, AI services, and next-generation computing resources.
