The entry-level Vibe Petrol is priced at Rs6,599,000 and comes with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a continuously variable transmission.

The Hybrid+ Excite is priced at Rs7,099,000, while the top-spec Hybrid+ Essence costs Rs7,499,000.

Both hybrid variants use a 1.5-litre Hybrid+ powertrain with a three-speed hybrid transmission. MG says the system delivers stronger acceleration and improved efficiency, with a combined output of 158 kilowatts and 465 newton-metres of torque.

The launch gives Pakistani buyers a choice between a conventional petrol model and two hybrid options at a time when demand for fuel-efficient vehicles is growing.

The new ZS features LED lighting, alloy wheels, SUV-style body cladding and a redesigned front profile. The top variant also offers a powered tailgate and an electronic panoramic sunroof.

Inside, the SUV includes digital displays, smartphone connectivity and multiple storage spaces.

Its boot offers 443 litres of capacity, which expands to 1,457 litres when the rear seats are folded, making it suitable for daily family use and longer journeys.

MG Pakistan said all three variants are equipped with six airbags, Bosch electronic stability control, Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems and a body structure made with 81% high-strength steel.

Jianqiang Shao, chief executive officer of MG Motor Pakistan, said the new line-up was developed for customers seeking improved safety, technology, efficiency and practicality.

The launch expands MG Pakistan’s local SUV range as automakers introduce more petrol-hybrid models to attract buyers concerned about fuel costs and vehicle efficiency.
