Google’s AI Seekho 2026 Trains New Generation of Pakistan’s AI Builders

ISLAMABAD, August 3, 2026: Google’s AI Seekho 2026 has concluded as one of Pakistan’s largest artificial intelligence (AI) developer initiatives, highlighting the country’s growing interest in AI skills, digital innovation and emerging technology solutions.

Organized by Google in collaboration with the Ministry of IT & Telecommunication (MoITT), Telenor Pakistan and Innovista, the programme attracted thousands of developers and technology enthusiasts who built AI-powered solutions using Google AI Studio and Google Antigravity.

At the national finale, participating teams competed for a total prize pool of PKR 2.5 million, including a top prize of PKR 1 million.

Over 50,000 Developers Engage in AI Seekho Initiative

The scale of AI Seekho 2026 reflects the increasing demand for AI development skills across Pakistan’s technology ecosystem.

The initiative attracted more than 50,000 developers and builders, received over 17,000 registrations, and resulted in the submission of more than 1,500 AI-powered solutions.

Organizers said the programme provided a platform for discovering and supporting Pakistan’s emerging AI talent by giving participants access to advanced AI tools and development resources.

The initiative also highlighted a broader shift in Pakistan’s technology landscape, where easier access to AI platforms is enabling individuals from diverse backgrounds to build innovative solutions.

Diverse Participation Expands Pakistan’s AI Community

Google said AI Seekho 2026 demonstrated how access to technology can help expand innovation beyond traditional technology circles.

Professionals represented around 40% of participants, while women accounted for 25% of overall participation, reflecting growing diversity within Pakistan’s AI development community.

Participants used Google AI Studio and Google Antigravity to transform ideas into functional products, focusing on solutions across areas including gaming, services, and digital marketplaces.

Team Struggler Wins National Championship

Team Struggler from Karachi secured the national championship and won the PKR 1 million grand prize for developing an AI-powered interactive game.

The team, comprising students from DHA Suffa University, created “Struggler” — a single-player game featuring an agentic AI system that adjusts difficulty levels based on player behaviour.

Using Google Antigravity as the core development platform, the team built a dynamic gaming experience that combines AI-driven adaptation with interactive storytelling.

Team Nurture Secures Second Position

Team Nurture won the second prize of PKR 650,000 for developing “Hazir” — an AI-powered platform designed to simplify service bookings in Pakistan’s informal economy.

The team included product designers from Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar who focused on creating a user-friendly solution for connecting families with service providers.

Hazir uses autonomous AI agents to process requests, match users with suitable workers, track jobs and manage ratings, aiming to make daily service arrangements more efficient.

Team Viberonix Highlights Rise of Self-Taught Developers

Team Viberonix from Sahiwal secured third position and received PKR 325,000 for creating “Wasila,” an AI-powered marketplace for gig workers.

The team developed a system where users can request services through simple text messages, while AI agents assist with matching, negotiations and booking arrangements.

The achievement highlighted how self-taught developers are increasingly contributing to Pakistan’s technology ecosystem.

Google and Partners Continue AI Skills Expansion

Google said AI Seekho 2026 reflects the potential of Pakistan’s young talent when provided access to advanced digital tools and learning opportunities.

The company said continued collaboration between the public and private sectors will be important for expanding AI education, supporting grassroots innovation and preparing the next generation of Pakistani technology builders.

As part of the initiative’s next phase, Google and its partners will host AI Seekho Builders Days in Islamabad and Karachi on August 8 and 9, 2026, inviting developers, creators and technology enthusiasts to participate.
