Mardan Reviews Revenue Performance, Orders Faster Disposal of Pending Cases

Mardan district administration has reviewed revenue and administrative performance for the month of May in a meeting chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Eid Nawaz Sherani, on directives of the Deputy Commissioner Mardan.

The meeting brought together assistant commissioners, additional assistant commissioners, tehsildars, and other revenue officials to assess ongoing administrative work, pending cases, and public service delivery across the district. Authorities emphasized improved efficiency in case disposal and revenue collection to strengthen governance and public service outcomes.

Revenue cases, tax recovery and land records reviewed

Officials conducted a detailed review of pending, newly filed, and disposed of revenue cases before the courts of assistant and additional assistant commissioners. Officers were instructed to ensure timely disposal of cases strictly in accordance with law and merit.

The meeting also reviewed performance related to Agricultural Income Tax collection, mutations (intiqal), and issuance of land ownership records (fards). Officials were directed to intensify efforts to meet revenue targets and resolve procedural delays.

Land conversion and field verification focus

Progress on cases involving conversion of Khana Kasht land into ownership was also discussed. The ADC General directed field staff to complete site verification and required formalities without delay, while supervisory officers were asked to closely monitor progress.

Public services and complaint resolution reviewed

The meeting further reviewed performance in sectors including education, health, sanitation, price control, anti-encroachment drives, and development schemes under the Annual Development Programme (ADP).

Complaints received through the Pakistan Citizen Portal and other government platforms were also examined. Officials were instructed to resolve public grievances within the stipulated time frame to improve service delivery and public trust.

The ADC General stressed that all departments must prioritize public interest, improve performance, and ensure timely resolution of administrative matters.
