Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Senator Ali Zafar said on Thursday that party founder Imran Khan’s fourth letter was on the cards.
Expressing his thoughts, Zafar said, “It is not necessary to get the response of an open letter. It is usually written as the piece of advice.”
The purpose of writing this letter is generally to highlight any flaws,” he said.
Zafar maintained, “Maybe the concerned people might act on the letter.”
“The PTI founder had done his job,” he said.
Earlier on Wednesday, the PTI had sent a dossier and a letter to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission.
Speaking on Samaa TV programme, “Nadeem Malik Live,” Ayub said that the letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, along with the dossier, had been forwarded to the IMF delegation.
“The letter and the dossier were sent to the IMF mission, which also included the report of the Petten and the covering letter,” Ayub said during his appearance.
The opposition leader explained that the letter highlighted key concerns regarding governance, rule of law, and transparency.
“The letter raised issues of human rights violations taking place in the country,” Ayub noted, adding that the dossier contained evidence regarding alleged electoral rigging.
