In Chile, a whale swallowed a young man aboard a small boat but spat him out seconds later. The terrifying scene was captured on camera.
According to foreign media reports, the young man was in a small boat at sea when a whale swallowed him but soon spat him back out. The entire incident was recorded, and the video quickly went viral.
Speaking to British media, the young man said, “For a moment, I thought I was going to die, but then the whale spat me out shortly after.”
His father, who was on the boat, safely brought him back to shore.
Whales, known as the largest marine creatures, are generally not aggressive toward humans. The young man believes the whale realized its mistake and quickly released him.
