Terrorists abducted 17 unarmed civilian workers in Kabal Khel area of Lakki Marwat district on Thursday morning. Sources revealed that the workers were kidnapped for extortion. The terrorists also set fire to a vehicle belonging to a local contractor at the scene of the incident. The sources emphasized that these heinous acts of terrorism against Pakistan and its people have no connection with religion or Islamic values. The security and law enforcement agencies launched an immediate operation and have so far successfully rescued the eight kidnapped workers.
