Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has revealed that her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, sometimes calls her “difficult” when they disagree over her choice of films.
Speaking in a recent interview, Kareena said Saif and her sister, actress Karisma Kapoor, are among the people who give her the most open opinions about her professional decisions. However, she noted that both she and Saif are careful when commenting on each other’s work.
Kareena and Saif have different approaches to films
According to Indian media reports, Kareena said she and Saif have quite different perspectives as actors. She explained that there are occasions when Saif likes a particular script but she does not feel the same way about it.
When she turns down a project that Saif likes, he may tell her that she is “very difficult,” Kareena said. She added that she responds humorously by telling him, “Then you do it yourself.”
The couple keeps professional opinions separate
Kareena said she and Saif generally avoid interfering too much in each other’s professional decisions because actors can be sensitive about their work.
Despite having different views on scripts and projects, the couple often share their opinions because both work in the same film industry. Kareena indicated that their approach allows them to discuss their careers while maintaining boundaries around each other’s professional choices.
