BERLIN, November 5, 2026: Pakistani artisans and exporters are showcasing traditional handicrafts at Bazaar Berlin, a five-day international trade fair in Germany, as part of efforts to expand their access to European markets and connect with international buyers.

Pakistan’s participation, organised through its embassy in Berlin, features a dedicated pavilion displaying handmade products that reflect the country’s regional craftsmanship and cultural heritage.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Germany, Salman Sharif, visited the pavilion at Messe Berlin, where he met participating artisans and exporters and reviewed the products on display.

He appreciated their efforts to preserve traditional skills while adapting designs and products to changing consumer preferences in international markets.

The ambassador said Bazaar Berlin offered Pakistani businesses an opportunity to introduce their products to European consumers, establish commercial contacts and explore new export opportunities.

He reaffirmed the embassy’s commitment to supporting artisans and small businesses through commercial networking and engagement with prospective buyers in Germany.

The Pakistani pavilion features carved rosewood decorative items, brasswork, hand-knotted textiles, traditional embroidery and regional pottery, representing different craft traditions from across the country.

According to the embassy, the display has attracted interest from international buyers, trade visitors and local shoppers, particularly in handmade textiles, decorative products and items made from natural materials.

Bazaar Berlin brings together exhibitors and artisans from approximately 60 countries, providing a platform for traditional crafts, handmade products and international commercial engagement.

Pakistan’s participation is aimed at strengthening the international visibility of its handicraft sector while helping small businesses and individual artisans develop connections with potential customers and distributors in the European market.
