MUMBAI: Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor has expressed regret over not completing her education, revealing that she left her studies after 11th grade to pursue a career in films.
According to Indian media reports, the actress said in a recent interview that her decision to leave education has remained something she reflects on, despite having the opportunity to continue her studies.
Kareena said she entered the film industry because acting was what she genuinely wanted to do. She acknowledged that people may mock or criticize her decision, but she wanted to prove herself as an actress and pursue the profession she loved.
The actress admitted that she still feels disappointed about not completing her education.
Speaking about her sons, Taimur and Jehangir (Jeh), Kareena said she wants them to choose their careers according to their interests. However, she emphasized that she would like them to complete their education first and then follow their passions.
