LAHORE, July 10, 2026: Beaconhouse has partnered with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to introduce a specialised communication skills programme for professional cricketers participating in the National Cricket Academy camp, focusing on media readiness, emotional intelligence, leadership, and professional representation.
Titled “Communication Skills for Professional Cricketers,” the customised programme has been designed to help players manage communication challenges associated with high-performance sport, both on and off the field.
The initiative was developed at the request of PCB, with Beaconhouse aiming to equip players with skills that support teamwork, leadership development, public interaction, and effective representation in professional sporting environments.
Programme focuses on media readiness and emotional intelligence
The programme consists of 11 interactive sessions tailored specifically for professional cricketers.
According to Beaconhouse, the sessions cover key areas including professional communication, active listening, media engagement, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, emotional regulation, and effective public representation.
Through practical exercises, simulations, and real-life scenarios, players will be trained to handle high-pressure situations and communicate more effectively during media interactions, team environments, and public engagements.

Beaconhouse highlights athlete development focus
Speaking about the collaboration, Fareeha Ahmad, Director Education Development at Beaconhouse School System, said the programme aims to support Pakistan’s athletes in developing confidence and professionalism as they represent themselves, their teams, and the country.
She said communication skills have become an important part of modern sports, where athletes are required to engage with teammates, media, fans, and wider audiences.
The collaboration reflects Beaconhouse’s broader focus on leadership development and lifelong learning by extending its educational expertise into professional sports.
The initiative comes as professional cricket increasingly requires players to develop skills beyond performance on the field, including media handling, leadership, and public communication.
