One Vehicle Accumulates 54 E-Challans Worth Over Rs100,000 in Lahore

LAHORE, September 14, 2026: Traffic officials in Lahore have intercepted a vehicle at Thokar Niaz Baig carrying more than Rs100,000 in outstanding e-challan fines.

According to the traffic police, a patrolling officer checked the vehicle’s e-challan record and found 54 violations, with the total penalties exceeding Rs100,000.

The driver had reportedly violated traffic signals 32 times and breached lane-line rules 20 times.

Police said the vehicle was released after the outstanding fine was paid.

Lahore Traffic Police has also explained how citizens can challenge e-challans they believe were issued incorrectly.

Under the online system, citizens do not need to visit a traffic police office to submit a challenge. They can use the online review facility available through the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) portal.

How to Challenge an E-Challan Online

  • Visit the official PSCA e-challan website and provide the requested vehicle information.
  • Review the displayed e-challan details and confirm that it is the ticket being disputed.
  • Select the “Review” option to begin the review process.
  • Follow the portal’s instructions, provide the required information and submit the review request online.
  • The relevant authorities will examine the submitted complaint.
  • Once the review is completed, the applicant will be informed of the decision.
