Bollywood star Aamir Khan has reportedly started losing weight and working on his appearance for his upcoming sports film Lalkaar, directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.
According to Indian media reports, the film is expected to be based on the 1952 India-Pakistan Test series, with Aamir set to portray a character who is around 25 years old.
At 61, Aamir has previously undergone significant physical transformations for several film roles, changing his weight and appearance to suit different characters.
Reports say the actor has now begun a fitness routine aimed at achieving the look required for his latest project.
Aamir’s Role in Lalkaar
The film would reunite Aamir Khan with Ashutosh Gowariker years after their successful collaboration on Lagaan, another sports-focused film.
While details about the project remain limited, reports suggest the upcoming movie will draw from a significant chapter in India-Pakistan cricket history.
