A ceremony was held at the Gymkhana Dadu by the Sindh government under the Sindh Solar Energy Project for the distribution of solar home systems. In the first phase, solar systems were distributed to 50 deserving families of Dadu district by PPP MNA Rafiq Ahmed Jamali and Deputy Commissioner Dadu, Mukhtiar Ali Abro. The organization working on the project, Thardeep, presented gifts of Ajraks and shields during the event.

The event was also attended by TRDP District Manager Beesham Kumar, Engineer Khalil Shaikh, Syed Sikandar Ali Shah, Liaquat Jamali, President of Dadu Press Club Sabir Bhand, and other journalists. Addressing the ceremony, MNA Rafiq Ahmed Jamali stated that the beneficiaries of the Benazir Income Support Program were the ones receiving the solar systems today, describing it as a service to the people. He emphasized that the PPP believes in serving the public, particularly the poor.
