Indian comedian Samay Raina has responded humorously to reports claiming that he and 12th Fail actress Medha Shankar are planning to get married in December.
Rumours about the two have circulated for some time after they were spotted together on several occasions. The latest wedding speculation began with a Reddit post claiming that Raina and Shankar would marry in December this year.
Samay Raina Responds to Wedding Speculation
Raina addressed the claim on Instagram with a joke, writing that he already had his India tour scheduled for December and therefore would have to postpone the wedding.
He accompanied the post with Lata Mangeshkar’s song Jhooth Bole Kauwa Kaate, adding to the humorous tone of his response.
The comedian and Shankar have been seen together at several events, which has fueled dating speculation. Raina has also previously referred to Shankar as his “best friend” on his show India’s Got Latent.
However, neither Raina nor Shankar has publicly confirmed that they are in a relationship or that they are planning to marry.
