Pakistan Women’s cricket team secured the bronze medal at the Asian Games after defeating Bangladesh Women by 31 runs in the third-place playoff.
Pakistan posted 145 for eight after being sent in to bat, with captain Fatima Sana leading the scoring with a 45-run innings.
Bangladesh struggled in the chase and finished on 114 for seven in their allotted overs. Pakistan bowler Umm-e-Hani took three wickets to help seal the victory.
Pakistan Secure Third Place
The win gave Pakistan the bronze medal in the women’s cricket competition at the Asian Games.
The women’s cricket final will be contested between India and Sri Lanka, with the two teams competing for the gold medal.
