The achievement marks a notable international success for the PMA team, which competed against military contingents from 16 countries in the annual event. The competition is regarded as a platform for showcasing military drill, discipline, and ceremonial excellence.
According to the ISPR, the Pakistani team won the overall team trophy and also claimed the awards for Best Pace Sticker and Best Driver, securing all major honours available at the competition.
The nine-member contingent was led by Major Haider Gulzar, Adjutant of the Pakistan Military Academy. The team arrived in the United Kingdom on June 5 to participate in the event hosted by the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
The ISPR said the competition featured teams from various international armed forces and involved a series of assessments focused on precision, coordination, and ceremonial standards.
The Pakistan Army team’s performance earned it the highest overall ranking among participating teams, reflecting the training and preparation undertaken by the contingent ahead of the event.
