Islamabad — LogiServe, the fintech subsidiary of SLGTrax, has signed a lending facility agreement with Mobilink Microfinance Bank (MMBL) to expand digital financing options for merchants operating within the SLGTrax ecosystem. The initiative aims to improve access to working capital for small business owners and strengthen financial inclusion through technology-driven lending.

The partnership, announced on June 29, 2026, will enable merchants using the SLGTrax platform and wallet services to access short-term financing designed to support liquidity needs and business expansion. The agreement was signed at a ceremony in Islamabad attended by senior representatives from both organisations.

According to the companies, the collaboration is intended to address funding gaps faced by small and medium-sized merchants by combining digital infrastructure with microfinance expertise. It comes as Pakistan’s fintech and SME financing landscape continues to expand through platform-based lending models.

Digital lending facility for merchants

Under the arrangement, eligible merchants within the SLGTrax ecosystem will be able to access working capital financing of up to Rs250,000 through digitally enabled processes.

The offering also includes access to partner-based benefits, including discounts across a network of more than 10,000 vendors and complimentary online medical consultations. Additional coverage includes hospitalization support of up to Rs200,000 across more than 300 panel hospitals.

The facility also provides financial protection in cases of accidental death, permanent disability, or damage to business premises, subject to coverage limits tied to outstanding loan amounts or up to Rs1 million, whichever is lower.

Female entrepreneurs enrolled in the system will receive additional support features, including family income protection and maternity-related benefits, according to the partners.

Focus on SME financing and inclusion

Officials from both organisations said the partnership combines Mobilink Microfinance Bank’s experience in financial inclusion with LogiServe’s digital ecosystem to deliver accessible financing tools for small businesses.

The initiative targets merchants and SMEs that often face challenges in securing traditional credit, particularly in informal or semi-formal sectors of the economy.

The collaboration reflects a broader trend in Pakistan’s financial sector toward embedded finance models, where lending and support services are integrated directly into digital commerce platforms.
