KARACHI, September 21, 2026: Jaffer Business Systems (JBS) and Mercantile have announced a strategic partnership to expand access to official Apple products and enterprise services for businesses across Pakistan.
Under the partnership, JBS will become Mercantile’s Preferred Partner for Enterprise in Pakistan, adding Apple products to its existing technology portfolio, which includes data centres, infrastructure and enterprise solutions.
The partnership is designed to give organisations a structured way to adopt, deploy, manage and support Apple devices within their existing workplace and IT environments.
Enterprise Apple Solutions and Support
JBS will provide enterprise customers with support beyond the initial purchase, including deployment, device management, ongoing services and lifecycle management of Apple devices.
The offering will include support for Apple Business, Automated Device Enrolment and Managed Apple Accounts, along with device-management guidance and access to warranty and after-sales services through Mercantile and Mercantile Care.
The partnership will also expand JBS’s portfolio into handheld devices, connecting Apple devices used by employees with the broader technology infrastructure supporting businesses.
Focus on AI and Digital Transformation
Veqar ul Islam, CEO of JBS, said the partnership would extend the company’s technology offering from data centres and infrastructure to the devices used by employees.
He said organisations adopting AI require not only AI models but also secure infrastructure, managed endpoints, trained personnel and governed access to technology.
“With our strong presence across Windows platforms and now the addition of the Apple ecosystem through our partnership with Mercantile, the partnership gives customers a trusted route across both Windows and Apple platforms,” Islam said.
Nauman Durrani, CEO Pakistan and SVP SAGE at Mercantile, said the company was focused on strengthening authorised access, service confidence and enterprise adoption of Apple products in Pakistan.
He said the partnership would combine Mercantile’s authorised Apple ecosystem with JBS’s experience in complex enterprise technology environments.
Supporting Pakistan’s Digital Economy
The companies said the partnership would provide businesses with a more structured route to adopting Apple technology at scale while supporting device management, servicing and maintenance.
They also linked the initiative to Pakistan’s broader digital economy, noting that the country’s IT exports have reached around US$4.6 billion.
According to the companies, wider access to modern workplace and handheld technologies could support productivity and digital adoption as Pakistani businesses increasingly integrate global technology platforms into their operations.
