Hyundai launches Palisade hybrid in Pakistan with prices up to Rs22.99 million

KARACHI — Hyundai Pakistan has announced the ex-factory prices of the Hyundai Palisade in Pakistan and opened bookings for its flagship full-size SUV, marking the brand’s entry into the premium hybrid SUV segment.

The company has introduced two variants: the Hyundai Palisade Hybrid Smart, priced at Rs20,999,000, and the Hyundai Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy, priced at Rs22,999,000. Bookings will begin on February 24 with a booking amount set at Rs3,000,000, while deliveries are expected to commence in August.

According to the company, the announced prices are exclusive of CVT, NEV levy, and advance tax.

Local assembly confirmed

Hyundai said the Palisade will be assembled locally in Completely Knocked Down (CKD) form. With this development, Pakistan becomes the first country outside South Korea to assemble the model. In other international markets, the SUV is typically sold as a fully imported unit.

The move positions the Palisade as Hyundai’s most premium and highest-priced offering in Pakistan’s market.

Engine and performance

The Hyundai Palisade Hybrid is powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged hybrid engine producing 329 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque. The hybrid powertrain combines petrol engine performance with electric assistance, aiming to deliver improved efficiency in the full-size SUV category.

With pricing and local assembly plans now confirmed, Hyundai has formally entered Pakistan’s high-end SUV segment with its global flagship model.
