Islamabad: Syed Sadat Hussain Shah, President for Tourism for Interfaith Peace and Development and President of Lake Shore Club, paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces on Pakistan Day, stating that they continue to safeguard the country’s security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

In his message marking March 23, he said the passage of the Pakistan Resolution laid the foundation for an independent state, and the armed forces have played a key role in ensuring its stability and protection over the years.

He noted that strong national defence contributes to economic stability and helps create an environment conducive to investment. He also reiterated the need for collective efforts to support national development, promote exports, and strengthen the economy.

Sadat Shah emphasized that, given the current global and regional situation, national unity and cohesion are essential. He added that the business community stands alongside the armed forces in times of challenge.
