China Window, Pakistan Cultural Organization Sign MoU to Boost Cultural Cooperation Between Pakistan and China

Peshawar — A Chinese cultural center in Peshawar, China Window, and the Pakistan Culture Tourism and Arts Organization have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote cultural cooperation, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges between Pakistan and China, particularly focusing on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The agreement was formalized at a ceremony held at China Window, where representatives from both organizations agreed to collaborate on cultural initiatives, events, and exchange programs aimed at strengthening bilateral cultural ties.

The MoU was signed by Javed Aziz Khalji on behalf of the Pakistan Culture Tourism and Arts Organization and Amjad Aziz Malik representing China Window. The event was attended by cultural figures including Rashid Suhail Paracha, Dr. Shahida Sardar, Naz Parveen, and Joyce Ashkar.

Speaking at the ceremony, China Window Administrator Amjad Aziz Malik said the partnership would promote cultural, educational, and literary activities while enhancing friendship between Pakistan and China. He emphasized the importance of expanding cultural engagement in Peshawar and across the province to support artists and cultural practitioners.

Pakistan Culture Tourism and Arts Organization Founder Chairman Javed Aziz Khalji said the organization, recently registered with the Social Welfare Department, had formally begun its activities aimed at promoting arts and culture. He added that the collaboration would help organize cultural events across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and create new opportunities for artists and communities.

Khalji also highlighted the importance of facilitating Chinese tourists interested in religious tourism in the province and expressed hope that future Chinese cultural delegations visiting Pakistan would include Peshawar in their itinerary.

Participants at the ceremony welcomed the agreement, describing it as a positive step toward enhancing cultural understanding, tourism cooperation, and stronger bilateral relations between Pakistan and China.
