The Pakistani singer says his playback singing experience in India taught him valuable lessons and helped shape his musical journey.
Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has said that he misses his fans in India, recalling the important role his experience of working in the Indian music industry played in his career.
The internationally acclaimed singer made the remarks while speaking during a podcast in Dubai, where he is currently involved in music-related activities and has been appearing in interviews across digital platforms.
Atif Aslam recently appeared on Chris Fade’s podcast, One on One with Chris Fade, where he discussed his Indian fan base and his ongoing musical projects.
During the conversation, the singer revealed that he is working on a new initiative called “Borderless Music,” which brings together young artists, senior singers, established legends, musicians and lyricists from different backgrounds.
Addressing his Indian fans, Atif said they should not feel sad or disappointed because of the current restrictions. He emphasized that what he misses is not simply working in India, but the fans he has built there over the years.
The singer also reflected on his experience of playback singing in India, saying it taught him a great deal. He suggested that without the restrictions that prevented him from continuing that work, he might not have moved toward producing and developing his own music.
Atif also thanked his Indian fans for continuing to support him during difficult times, saying he deeply appreciates their loyalty.
He further hinted that “Borderless Music” will bring new music to audiences in the coming days, potentially offering fans another opportunity to connect with his evolving musical work.
