ISLAMABAD: Australian coach Ashley Noffke has resigned as Pakistan’s bowling coach and will leave his role with the national cricket team after the Asian Games.
Noffke, who has also served as an assistant coach, will work with Pakistan’s men’s team at the Asian Games, which is expected to be his final assignment before taking up a new role with the Netherlands.
PCB Seeks Noffke’s Replacement
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has advertised the position of bowling coach following Noffke’s resignation. Candidates are required to have a Level 3 coaching qualification and at least five years of relevant experience.
Noffke’s departure comes after former Test bowling coach Umar Gul was removed from his position following the conclusion of the Lord’s Test.
Netherlands Appoints Noffke as Head Coach
The Netherlands has announced Noffke’s appointment as its new head coach.
His Asian Games assignment will mark the end of his coaching stint with Pakistan, after which he is set to begin his new international role with the Netherlands.
