Badminton Championship Abbottabad 2025 concluded at the City Sports Complex Abbottabad, in which Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Captain (retd) Sanaullah Khan attended as the chief guest. Who distributed cash prizes, certificates, medals and trophies among the winning players at the end of the ceremony. After a fierce competition in the District Badminton Championship Men’s Single Final Mile organized by the District and Regional Sports Office at the City Sports Complex, Abbottabad, Muhammad Shakir defeated Aminul Haq Jadoon 19/21:21/18:21:19 to become the champions, while in the doubles competitions, Muhammad Shakir and Nazir Khan defeated Hamza Khan and Saad 3-1 to win the event.
In the women’s singles, Laiba Mushtaq defeated Marwa 2-1. In the first set, Marwa won 21-19, while in the next two sets, Laiba Mushtaq gave Marwa a tough time and won 21-19-21 to become the district champion. While in the women’s doubles, Laiba Mushtaq Aqar Marwa defeated Halima and Jia 2-1. Doubles event won. On this occasion, Regional Sports Officer Ahmed Zaman Khan and District Sports Officer Junaid Rehman welcomed the guests. Deputy Commissioner Sanaullah Khan said that by organizing such events, the youth are saved from many evils and organizing sports is the need of the hour and the youth are our valuable asset and every effort will be made to provide facilities to the youth.
