DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Regional Police Officer Nasir Mehmood Sati has said, law enforcement agencies and people are on the same page to promote peace during Muharram.

RPO Dera said, Police are always alert and ready to face any challenges by being the guarantor of peace, establishing law and order and supremacy of law and justice is our first priority.
RPO said, it is the common responsibility of all of us to thwart the nefarious intentions of the anti-national forces who are trying to spread chaos and instability in the Dera range through insecurity through mutual unity.
These views were expressed by Regional Police Officer Dera Ismail Khan Nasir Mehmood Satti while addressing a high-level meeting held at Regional Police Office Dera with Sunni, Shia and peace committee members on Wednesday.
District Police Chief Dera Nasir Mahmood, Qari Khalil Ahmed Siraj, Muhammad Ramzan Toqeer, Sayed Fayaz Hussain Bukhari, Maulana Muhammad Umair Farooqui, Sahib Zada Muhammad Rab Nawaz Farooqui, Sayed Nazakat Hussain Shah Geelani and all Sunni, Shia people, business community and peace committee were present in the meeting. Elders were present.
Addressing the meeting, Regional Police Officer Dera Nasir Mehmood Sati said, that the hostile elements are trying to spread chaos and instability in the country through sectarianism, which all of us together have to defeat only by promoting mutual unity, religious tolerance, love, brotherhood and brotherhood.
The RPO said that previous agreements will be strictly enforced, strict legal action will be taken against the violators.
On this occasion, RPO Nasir Mehmood Satti emphasized on the people of Dera, to take care of the religious rights of others and not to give any opportunity to evil-doers to infiltrate their ranks.
In the end, all the participants in the meeting said that Muharram has been passing peacefully in Dera Ismail Khan for the past several years, and God willing, this time too he will pass peacefully, because we need the peace of this city, while we have made a lot of sacrifices for this.
However, for the peace and order of this city, we will work side by side with the district administration and spend Muharram-Ul-Haram peacefully.
