HAFIZABAD: PML-N supremo and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is slated to launch his election campaign today.
Nawaz Sharif is set to address his first electoral rally in Hafizabad on Thursday. He’ll be accompanied by his daughter, PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz.
The PML-N’s supremo will attend Saira Afzal Tarar’s election rally in NA-67, according to party sources.
Nawaz Sharif will have his first public gathering in Pakistan after returning from a four-year self-imposed exile on October 21, 2023. According to insiders, Nawaz would address 15 rallies throughout the election campaign.

Earlier on Monday, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz officially launched the party’s election campaign, claiming that her father, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, is about to return to power for the fourth time.
Addressing a raucous public rally in Okara, Maryam forecasted the resignation of those who oppressed Nawaz Sharif, claiming that the payback is not only against people, but also against the power system itself.
