According to the CTD report, 90 terror financing cases were registered in 2022 and 298 in 2023, 960 people were named in terror financing cases, 311 were arrested, 44 were killed, 13 crore 46 lakh rupees were recovered in the terror financing case, Peshawar.In the region, 46 cases of terror financing were registered in 2022 and 179 cases in 2023. Last year, 21 accused were convicted in 16 terror financing cases.
In Peshawar region one accused was convicted in 179 cases of terror financing last year. Cases have been filed for providing financial support to terrorists in the name of smuggling or donation.
