A woman in China managed to save a cat that suddenly fell from a height when her open umbrella unexpectedly stopped the animal from hitting the ground.
The unusual incident took place in Liuzhou, Guangxi, where the woman was standing outside taking pictures when she noticed a cat falling from above.
She initially tried to catch the cat with her hands but could not reach it. Fortunately, her open umbrella broke the cat’s fall, effectively acting as a safety net and preventing it from crashing directly onto the ground.
The dramatic rescue was captured on video and has attracted attention on social media.
According to reports, the cat belonged to a nearby household and had accidentally been left outside overnight.
