Shangla Police Partnership for Free Healthcare for Martyrs’ Families

The Shangla Police have signed agreements with several private hospitals and healthcare institutions to provide free medical treatment for the families of police martyrs and discounted healthcare for serving police personnel. The initiative is aimed at expanding welfare services for police officers and the families of those who lost their lives in the line of duty.

The program was launched under the direction of District Police Officer (DPO) Ikramullah Khan, who said supporting police martyrs’ families and serving personnel remains one of the department’s top priorities.

Agreements Signed With Private Healthcare Providers

Following the DPO’s directives, SDPO Alpurai Ihsanullah and SHO Alpurai Muhammad Arif met representatives of private hospitals and healthcare institutions at the district headquarters in Alpuri, where formal agreements were signed.

The participating healthcare institutions include:

  • Ayan Doctors Hospital
  • Rehman Clinical Laboratory
  • Mansoor Doctors Hospital
  • Shangla Medical Complex
  • Shaukat Hospital
  • Khyber Hospital
  • Habib Medical Complex

Free and Subsidized Medical Services

Under the agreements, the children, widows, and parents of police martyrs will receive medical treatment free of charge at the participating institutions.

Serving police officers, officials, and their immediate family members will be eligible for a 50% discount on medical treatment and related healthcare services.

Representatives of the participating hospitals assured the police department of their full cooperation in implementing the welfare initiative.

DPO Reaffirms Commitment to Police Welfare

Speaking on the occasion, DPO Ikramullah Khan said the department remains committed to protecting the dignity and well-being of police martyrs’ families while extending maximum support to serving personnel.

He said the sacrifices made by police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty would always be remembered, adding that similar welfare initiatives will continue to ensure police personnel and their families receive the care, respect, and support they deserve.
