Rawalpindi Police Investigate Armed Group Incident as CCTV Footage Emerges From Chaklala

Police have launched an investigation after CCTV footage surfaced showing a group of armed men arriving at a residence in Rawalpindi’s Chaklala Scheme III. The incident has renewed attention on alleged gang rivalry in the city despite ongoing law enforcement efforts against organized crime.

According to police, a case has been registered following a complaint by a resident, while investigators are examining CCTV footage and other evidence to identify those involved.

CCTV Footage Shows Armed Men Outside Residence

Reports said multiple luxury vehicles carrying armed individuals arrived outside a house in Chaklala Scheme III. The footage reportedly shows several men, some with covered faces, gathering outside the residence before leaving the area.

The complainant, identified as Muhammad Aitazaz, who is reported to be the brother of a man known as “Shani Tiger,” alleged that around 25 to 30 individuals arrived in approximately 10 vehicles. He claimed the group assaulted a household employee, issued threats and recorded videos of the incident on mobile phones.

FIR Registered, Investigation Underway

Police registered a First Information Report (FIR) under sections related to criminal intimidation and unlawful assembly. Officials said CCTV recordings from the house and surrounding area have been secured as part of the investigation.

Authorities have not announced any arrests and said efforts are underway to identify the suspects and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Viral Video Statement Also Surfaces

Following the incident, a video statement circulating on social media and attributed to an overseas-based individual known as “Shani Tiger” also gained attention.

In the video, he alleges that members of his family were harassed and refers to a rival by name. The claims made in the video have not been independently verified by authorities.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and further action will be taken based on the evidence collected.
