Tarbela Ghazi (Report by Abid Ali Khan)
A vigorous protest rally was held in Tehsil Ghazi to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemn the ongoing atrocities in Palestine by Israel. The rally, led by prominent religious figures including Maulana Muhammad Shoaib, Qari Akhtar Zaman Chishti, and other distinguished scholars, took place in Ghazi Bazaar. It witnessed the participation of a large number of people, including youth, religious students, traders, and representatives from civil society.

The participants of the rally carried Palestinian flags, banners, and placards with slogans such as “The Bond with Palestine—Faith, Unity, Sacrifice,” “Down with Israel,” and “Al-Quds is Our First Qibla.” The demonstrators raised their voices against Israeli aggression and strongly supported the Palestinian people.
In his address, Maulana Muhammad Shoaib stated that Israel is embarrassing humanity by committing atrocities against innocent children, women, and unarmed civilians, while the international community’s silence is tantamount to criminal neglect. He emphasized that the issue of Palestine is not just an Arab or Muslim matter, but a matter of global humanity.
Qari Akhtar Zaman Chishti urged the Muslim Ummah to unite and take practical steps on the Palestinian issue. He also called on the Pakistani government to raise its voice against Israeli atrocities on all international forums, including the United Nations, and to extend practical support to the Palestinian people.
Other speakers paid tribute to the Palestinian martyrs, stating that they are sacrificing their lives to protect the first Qibla, and the entire Ummah salutes their sacrifices. At the conclusion of the rally, a collective prayer was offered for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs of Palestine, for Muslim unity, and for peace and security in the Islamic world. The rally ended peacefully, with participants resolute in their commitment to stand by the Palestinian people.
