MARDAN: In the police encounter, the accused was killed by the firing of his own colleagues, a policeman was injured,the search for the accomplices continues.According to the police,station Jabar, police station Katlang, and police station Dagar Bunir, wanted ad accused Kashif son of Usman Resident Sawaldher, wanted in various serious cases, was arrested.Accused Kashif was involved in more than 30 cases of murder, attempted murder, robbery, and other serious crimes and was wanted by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well as Punjab police.During the investigation, the police recovered a Kalashnikov, a large amount of ammunition, and cash on the identification of the accused.During further investigation, the accused identified his four accomplices, who were immediately raided by the police in the area of Darangona Jabar.
During the raid led by SHO Irfan Akbar, the associates of the accused suddenly opened fire on the police, from which the accused Kashif was hit by the fire of his own associates and died on the spot.
While a constable of Jabar police station was injured, he was immediately shifted to Mardan Medical Complex(MMC)
A large-scale search operation is underway against the four absconding accused in the area under the leadership of SP Rural Ehsan Shah and DSP Katlang Gulshed Khan.According to the police, the absconding accused will be arrested soon.
