Pakistan conducts successful training launch of indigenously developed Fatah-4 missile: ISPR

 — Pakistan successfully conducted a training launch of the indigenously developed Fatah-4 ground-launched cruise missile on Wednesday, according to Inter-Services Public Relations.

The military said the launch was carried out by the Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command to evaluate the missile system’s operational readiness and technical performance. The test was aimed at improving troop preparedness and validating the performance of various sub-systems designed to enhance accuracy and survivability.

According to the ISPR, the Fatah-4 missile is equipped with advanced avionics and modern navigational systems and is capable of engaging long-range targets with high precision.

Senior officers from the Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command, along with scientists and engineers involved in the missile’s development, witnessed the training launch.

Civil and military leadership congratulate teams

The ISPR said President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Chief of the Naval Staff and Chief of the Air Staff congratulated the teams involved in the successful test.

Pakistan’s civil and military leadership also appreciated the efforts of scientists, engineers and technical staff who contributed to the development and launch of the F-series missile system.

Pakistan has continued to expand indigenous defence and missile development programmes as part of its broader strategic and security capabilities.
