PAF marks first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq with focus on modernization and readiness

RAWALPINDI, May 7: The Pakistan Armed Forces, particularly the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), commemorated the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq on the night of May 6 and 7, describing the operation as a significant milestone in the country’s military history and a reflection of ongoing modernization efforts.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military said the anniversary highlighted the Pakistan Air Force’s focus on advanced technologies, operational preparedness and multi-domain warfare capabilities amid evolving regional security challenges.

According to ISPR, the operation reinforced national confidence and demonstrated the PAF’s efforts to enhance operational effectiveness through the induction of modern systems and the rapid integration of emerging technologies.

The military’s media wing stated that the use of multi-domain operations reflected changes in modern aerial warfare and underscored the PAF’s readiness to defend Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Focus on modernization and regional security

The statement said Pakistan remained committed to peace and regional stability, describing the country’s strategic approach as responsible and security-focused. It added that the armed forces continued to prioritize preparedness, capability development and professional training in response to changing geopolitical and security conditions.

ISPR also noted that Pakistan Armed Forces were closely monitoring regional developments and advancements in military capabilities by adversarial forces.

The military reiterated that investments in advanced technologies and operational readiness would continue to remain part of Pakistan’s long-term defence planning.

Tribute to Pakistan Air Force personnel

The statement paid tribute to Pakistan Air Force personnel for their professionalism, operational focus and contributions to the defence of the country’s airspace during Marka-e-Haq.

It added that the armed forces remained prepared to respond to any future threat against the country.
