According to the survey, Iran benefited more from the war and the subsequent agreement between the U.S. and Iran, while Israel’s long-term security has weakened.

According to the foreign news agency AFP, a survey was conducted by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Agam Institute between June 17 and June 20, in which 3,644 individuals participated.

The survey results indicate that 92.1% of Israeli citizens believe that Iran was the winner in this conflict or gained more advantages compared to Israel. On the other hand, 82.9% of participants said that Israel’s long-term security has weakened as a result of the war and the subsequent diplomatic agreement.

The report states that this opinion is not limited to opposition voters; even right-wing supporters of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu share the same view. Among the participants, 93.1% of right-wing supporters also said that Iran was more successful in this conflict.

Opposition to the agreement between the U.S. and Iran was also prominently observed among the Israeli public. According to the survey, 63.2% of individuals opposed the agreement, while only 12.1% supported it.

The survey results also indicate a decline in public confidence in Israeli leadership. Approximately 72.5% of participants said they do not believe Prime Minister Netanyahu’s claims that he had conducted a successful military campaign.

Furthermore, 56.4% of individuals described Netanyahu’s wartime strategy and handling of the crisis as “unsuccessful” or “weak.”

Political analysts say that these results are being seen as a significant warning for the Israeli government, as they show that a large portion of the public no longer has confidence in the policies of their leadership after the war and diplomatic developments.

Experts note that if this trend of public discontent continues, it could have deep effects on Israel’s internal politics, future elections, and Netanyahu’s political position.
