ISLAMABAD: Gold price in Pakistan remained steady as 24-karat gold was listed at Rs434,500 per tola in the local bullion market, keeping buyers, investors and jewelers focused on the next market movement.

The latest market update showed that 10 grams of 24-karat gold stood at Rs372,514, while one gram of 24-karat gold was priced at Rs36,189.

For lower purity levels, 22-karat gold was listed at Rs398,395 per tola and Rs341,472 per 10 grams. The rate of 21-karat gold stood at Rs380,286 per tola and Rs325,950 per 10 grams.

The price of 20-karat gold was recorded at Rs362,177 per tola and Rs310,429 per 10 grams, while 18-karat gold stood at Rs325,959 per tola and Rs279,386 per 10 grams.

Compared with the previous market update, gold rates showed limited movement in major categories. The 24-karat per tola rate stayed at Rs434,500, while the 10-gram rate was recorded at Rs372,514 after an increase of Rs2,264 in the earlier update.

The 22-karat per tola rate edged slightly to Rs398,395 compared with Rs398,394 in the previous update, while the 21-karat per tola rate remained unchanged at Rs380,286.

In the international bullion market, 24-karat gold was recorded at $4,031 per ounce.

Gold prices in Pakistan remain sensitive to international bullion trends, rupee-dollar movement, local demand and trading conditions in major bullion markets.
