Fazal Shakoor Khan on Tuesday issued directives to concerned officers of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Labour Fazal Shakoor Khan on Tuesday issued directives to concerned officers of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Highway Authority (PKHA) to expedite work on all developmental schemes of district Charsadda.

The Provincial Minister issued these directives while chairing an important meeting regarding the ongoing development projects in district Charsadda held at his office.

The meeting was attended by Managing Director (PKHA) Sohail Idrees, Director Legal Abid Shafi, Deputy Director Vigilance Farhan Shakeel, Assistant Director Vigilance Khan Wali, and Engineer Rashid Fida.

During the meeting, the provincial minister was given a detailed briefing on the various ongoing development schemes in Charsadda district. It is said in the briefing that repair work from Sardaryab to Farooq Azam Chowk is in progress. Similarly, development work is ongoing on Chooti bridge and Kuladher Chowk flyover.

However, work on Khayali bridge will commence after approval from the PDWP (Provincial Development Working Party).

The minister was also briefed on drainage systems of Mardan Road and Tangi Road, including updates on the work carried out so far.

Similarly, a detailed discussion was held regarding the reasons for the recent increase in rents of PKHA shops located on Peshawar, Tangi, and Mardan Roads .

The labour minister was informed about certain issues of fund shortages and delays in releases for these schemes.

Fazal Shakoor Khan assured that there would be no delay in the release of allocated funds for these projects and emphasized ensuring timely disbursement so that the public can benefit from the development schemes without unnecessary delays. He also directed concerned officers to speed up the pace of work and ensure timely completion of all projects.
