ISLAMABAD: EIGHTEEN has opened a direct entry and exit connection from the M-1/M-2 Link Road, improving access to the residential and commercial development for residents, visitors and surrounding communities.

The new road connection is expected to reduce travel time and provide a more convenient route to the project, which is located near Islamabad’s Sector H-17 along the Srinagar Highway and M-1/M-2 Link Road corridor.

EIGHTEEN said the direct access had been approved by the National Highway Authority, while the Ministry of Communications and the Special Investment Facilitation Council supported the approval and facilitation process.

The development described the opening as an important infrastructure milestone that would strengthen connectivity and support the project’s continued expansion.

Dr Mohamed Mansour, chief executive officer of EIGHTEEN, said the new access reflected cooperation between the development and relevant government authorities.

He said improved road connectivity would make the project more accessible and could strengthen confidence among its international sponsors and investors.

The company also credited the NHA for providing technical guidance during the approval process and acknowledged the SIFC’s role in facilitating investment.

EIGHTEEN is a mixed-use development being built by Egypt’s Ora Developers in partnership with Pakistan’s Saif Group and Kohistan Builders and Developers.

The project includes residential and commercial properties as well as planned hospitality, retail, healthcare and recreational facilities.

The new entry and exit point forms part of broader infrastructure work aimed at improving access to the development from Islamabad, Rawalpindi and the national motorway network.

EIGHTEEN said the route would serve residents and visitors while supporting the long-term development of the project as an integrated residential and commercial destination.
