LAHORE: Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) Chief Executive Officer Imran Amin visited the CBD NSIT City site in Lahore on May 25 to review progress on infrastructure development at Pakistan’s largest IT hub.
The project, also known as CBD NSIT City, is being developed as a major technology and business district aimed at supporting Punjab’s IT sector, attracting investment and providing modern infrastructure for local and international technology companies.
During the visit, Imran Amin inspected work on the grand entrance gate, main entrance patch and central park. Director Project Management CBD Punjab Asif Iqbal briefed him on completed milestones and the timeline for upcoming phases.
The review was also attended by Director Construction Asif Babar, Project Director NSIT City Yasir Saifullah, NESPAK officials and project contractors.
According to the briefing, construction of the main pillars of the entrance gate is progressing rapidly, while water-bound macadam work on the main entrance patch has been completed.
Imran Amin directed contractors to speed up work on the entrance gate and central park while ensuring workplace safety and construction quality. He said the timely completion of development works would help facilitate local and foreign investment in the project.
CBD Punjab said NSIT City is planned as a state-of-the-art technology hub designed to support digital innovation and strengthen Pakistan’s technology ecosystem.
